I haven't posted here since august? omy!

I planned on post my BigBangFail here in pieces, but I'll post it in one go when it's finished. Eventually I'd like to finish posting all my SV pieces here.

I should post my finished stories somewhere other than my LJ, not that I'd ever delete the journal. I hate when folks do that--especially popular writers. It seems unnecessarily douchey...but then again, one never knows what happens in rl that makes that kind of thing necessary.

I've been pouty and whiny again, stomping off and sitting in the corner and waiting for my beloveds to come and make a big fuss over me and sniveling and pouting when they don't...though it's hard for them to know they should when I don't TELL them that's what I want. They should just look at the particular *way* I'm smiling and know instantly that I need shmoozling. Yes, I know, that's why they call it insanity....

I put all this nuttiness down to menopause. I swear, I used to be a relentlessly cheerful kind of person. My glass was always half full. Now it's half empty and say, that's not apple-juice in there, is it? For the last few years, I've been a weepy pain in my own butt. Fortunately, I'm adorable enough that the Fam hasn't knocked me out and left me in some urban bus station sans ID--yet. I appreciate that too. I really should bake some cookies or something for them, instead of spending my evening reading and writing porn. Heh.

Since I've withdrawn from the SVBB, I might go ahead and post it now at LJ as a WIP. Tell me what you think, my SV muse--my brain's overheating!!

So this week, I've been writing lots on my SVBB, but only in my head. Oy. The SpN thing takes up too much angsting time. I just can't pull the ending together--even though the bits are all there.

Lex in this story is kind of...funny, in a way, without actually being funny? Does that make sense? And Clark. Ack. Problems with Clark. He's an innocent character in this, not simple, not gullible, but I find myself making his character tip towards that. I thought the story was going to be pretty straight forward, but now it's getting complicated and I haven't even got to Clark yet--I don't even know what his name is yet! Clark, or Kal, or Cal...oy! The whining!

My SV Big Bang, I've started it. I can feel this is not going to come as easily(ahahaha)as my other SV stories.I'm pretty easily feeling Lex, but not Clark. I think that's because I've got a whole different Clark living in my head at the moment. I really really need to stop throwing the SV guys into the SpN fics.

At the moment, I'm dragging my feet on research. I know the background I've chosen for my story really needs a little RL support, but oy--I'm feeling so *lazy*! I've already screwed up one fic I'm working on because of lack of basic research. Oh well....
